df-mp was founded in Munich in 2000 by the partners Dr. H. Ulrich Dörries, David Molnia and Sandra Pohlman.
The firm has been growing steadily as other patent attorneys have joined the firm. In 2007, Dr. Michael Eder has been appointed as a partner at df-mp. Meanwhile, df-mp has become a leading intellectual property firm in its practice areas. Since the summer of 2007, the office is located at the exclusive "Fünf Höfe" in the heart of Munich.
