Mr. Molnia is qualified both in Germany and Europe as well as in the United States. His qualifications enable him to represent clients before the European Patent Office, the German Patent and Trademark Office, the German Federal Patent Court, the European Office for Harmonization in the Internal Market (OHIM) as well as before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
Practice Areas:
David Molnia has been active in intellectual property since 1994 and is co-founder and partner of df-mp.
He heads the firm’s strong practices in the electrical and mechanical arts. A primary focus of his practice is on prosecution, opposition and litigation of German and European patents, in particular, in the fields of medical devices and telecommunications.
A further focus of his practice is the preparation of patent infringement and validity opinions in the course of freedom-to-operate analyses and due diligence projects.
David Molnia also heads the firm’s trademark and design practice. His practice therefore also includes the prosecution and opposition of European and German trademarks and designs as well as their enforcement and defense.
