Dr. Florian Brandt joined df-mp as a patent attorney candidate in 2010 and is a member the firm's biotechnology and pharmaceuticals team. Dr. Brandt's scientific background lies in biochemistry, protein chemistry, biophysics and nanotechnology.
As a patent attorney candidate, he is involved in prosecution, opposition, and infringement matters concerning German and European patents as well as preparing patent infringement and patent validity opinions.

B. Sc. and M. Sc. in Biochemistry from the Technical University of Munich. Research experience gathered in Munich and abroad at Pasteur Institute, Paris and Northwestern University, Evanston.
2005 - 2009
Doctorate degree and Postdoc in the area of protein synthesis and structural analysis at the Max-Planck-Institute of Biochemistry and the Technical University of Munich. Grant of the Max-Planck Junior Research Award 2009.
