Ruston Smith joined df-mp in 2007 as a patent consultant and is a member of the firm’s large and diversified pharmaceuticals practice group. His scientific background lies in biology, zoology, biochemistry and genetics.
His practice focuses on prosecution, opposition and infringement matters regarding European patents as well as on rendering validity and non-infringement opinions regarding European and U.S. patents. He is involved in clearance opinions in the pharmaceutical field.
